  • POWERHOUSE YOUR BRAIN! THE REMARKABLE IMPACT OF A KETOGENIC DIET ON NEUROPLASTIC BRAIN HEALTH. Hippocrates said, "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine thy food." A growing body of evidence-based medical research supports the ketogenic diet's positive impact on brain health and neuroplasticity. Multiple studies demonstrate the near-complete reversal of adverse symptomatology associated with brain senescence via diet alone, including Alzheimer’s dementia and chronic neurodegenerative diseases. Though ketogenic diets have been used since 461 BCE to treat epilepsy, emerging data demonstrates that the same ketogenetic effects regulating other CNS disorders are the exact biochemical mechanisms responsible for controlling apoptosis and the inflammatory states leading to brain function deterioration. This presentation offers practical solutions to introducing ketogenic into any multi-modal management strategy to improve brain neuroplasticity and use the power of food as medicine.
